Mission Statement

The MSU Union Art Gallery is an exhibition space located on the 2nd floor of the MSU Student Union just inside the Abbott Road entrance to Michigan State University. This space opened in October of 2016 and hosts 6-8 week solo and group exhibitions programed by the Department of Art, Art History, and Design. This unique space features work made by MSU AAHD Alumni, Visiting Artists, and special on-campus collaborative exhibitions. Through free public exhibitions, programs, and events the MSU Union Art Gallery offers hands-on experiences in the arts and professional development opportunities for Michigan State University students and faculty, and the greater East Lansing community. The MSU Union Art Gallery promotes inclusion and challenges it's viewers to expand upon their understanding of contemporary art.

All inquires about this space can be sent to AAHD Director of Galleries, Jacquelynn Sullivan at sulli357@msu.edu.
