In Studio Art, students explore and create using the language of two and three dimensional form, space, and time in various media and technologies including Ceramics, Electronic Arts & Intermedia, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, and Sculpture.
There are two degree programs in Studio Art for undergraduate students. The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art is a professional program for students who anticipate careers in the practice of art or design, or for students planning on graduate study in either of those fields. The Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art is a liberal arts program. Emphasis is on breadth of study, and the number of required Studio Art courses is limited so that students may choose from more humanities electives.
