The Bachelor of Arts degree program in Apparel and Textiles provides students with a foundation in art; art history and visual culture; design technology; textile materials; the historical and cultural aspects of dress and textiles; and their context within the global economy. Cognates of courses both within and external to the college provide additional opportunities to explore and combine apparel and textiles with a wide range of fields such as design communication and small business entrepreneurship.
